So I got asked to test out the La Sardina camera. It’s beautiful and has a great outer graphic design concept. I personally hate tinned fish products but I must admit this one is quite yummy! I got the green California Calamares edition and I think it’s amazing!!!
I love the extras you get on La Sardina such as the good old B setting and also the bonus MX button which is always a win in my eyes! I decided the first film to be crammed into this fishy treat would be the good old colour slide film (to be xpro’d). I love the colours given off away and towards the sun. I also realised my little test cam had a slight light leak (as you can see by the pictures) but I don’t mind, I actually quite like it!
The second film pick was good old B&W…. La Sardina loves black and white, it gives such good contrast and drama to the pictures, as does my little light leak!
Thirdly I decided to see what it could do with some normal colour negative film (Fuji 200) and I was impressed with the results of nice contrasts and colours!!
I would really recommend getting a La Sardina! They are fun and a beautiful edition to any Lomographers collection.
