The LC-Wide was just launched recently, and now there’s another fresh addition to Lomography – La Sardina camera!.
La Sardina is a kind of fish in Spain. The camera is named as such because it is inspired by the sardine! You’ll see that everything is related to the fish — from the package to the photo album!
The 21mm wide angle lens, the aperture f/8 and the shutter 1/100,remind me of the 22mm wide angle Vivitar lens which is quite popular. But after a deep careful observation of this camera, I found out that the similarities end there.
1. The multiple exposure function satisfies your artistic and creative urges.
2. The B setting, when used with tripod could help you easily shoot during nighttime.
3. Two types of focal distance (0.6m shoot in short distance, 1m – infinite far) makes it easy to focus and shoot!
The shortest shooting distance is my favorite part; I have always shot things in a short range distance with 21mm super wide angle lens.
4. The most valuable part you have to check out is its special photoflash.
There are three kinds of shoot distance modes, four lampshades which are color white, red, yellow and blue. In fact I do not like to use the flash bulb when I shoot, but I still gave it a try this time, I just can’t believe that the results are just so fabulous.
Let’s have a look at the La Sardina photos!
After trying out La Sardina, I think its size is moderate, and it’s also comfy for use. The aperture f/8 and the shutter 1/100 gives favorable results under the sun. The B shutter and the photoflash are helpful in dark places.
