Solid Gold (35mm, 200 iso) user-review

Sold on Solid Gold! If film is your currency, then this undervalued treasure is your ticket to photographic riches.

With its cheap price, you wouldn’t normally expect so much. But
the vibrant colors, and fine grain of this 200 ISO film might just knock your block off.
I’ve been told the output is very similar to Tokyo Gratzy Parade. When I did a little research on this film, I was discovered that it is imported directly from Japan and rebranded here in the Philippines. Readily available in a lot of stores in Manila and even given away free by some labs when you have your rolls
developed and printed, you’d be hard pressed not to try shooting with it if your budget is limited. It retails for just a little over a dollar.

This baby dishes out lovely images when red scaled. Take experimental photography to another level.
Dunk it in some nasty house hold product, wash, dry or bake it. You’re sure to find plenty of ways to push the potential of this cheap marvel. So if you have a lomographer friend in Manila, why not request for doubles using this film and maybe just maybe he’ll include an empty roll for you to try out.
