Wall of Graffiti!

Do you know the best place to see graffiti? Have you heard of Hosier Lane, Melbourne, Australia or Queens, New York, United States ? If not, then you must Google it! Those are the places where you can see awesome graffiti painted all over buildings. The influence of graffiti subculture is also widespread in Malaysia. We also have our own best spot to see graffiti!

Graffiti is a form of street art where at their early stage, people always assume that it is vandalism. From time to time, people can accept it as a subculture. Through graffiti, people can convey messages like freedom, unity, rights, etc.

Where is it? It is located at the banks of Klang River, near the central market known as Pasar Seni. The graffiti wall is very long and I bet you will feel exhausted if you walk along the riverbanks. So, bring a bottle of water!

The colourful wall makes the perfect place for you and your friends to share a happy moment and snap a picture using your beloved lomography cameras and films. Below is a documentation of my exciting experience walking along the graffiti wall with my friends!

Pictures were taken by Lomo LC-A + loaded with Kodak EB

I also used the montage technique which was introduced by lomokev and I found that the background drives me crazy!

For your information, the graffiti is painted by local and international artists. Last year, the graffiti competition was held here. Famous graffiti artists also joined in the competition, my friends and I got a chance to meet them.

How to go there?
Take a train/LRT to Pasar Seni. Then you’ll see the graffiti wall from the station. To go down there, it takes about 10 minutes.

1) Must be in a group. Sometimes, homeless people are around there. If you walk as a group, they are afraid to come near you or bother you.
2 ) Bring a bottle of water.
3 ) Make sure your camera is loaded with film and bring some spares! Slide film is the best!
4 ) LOMO ON!
