Last weekend, we let Mephisto19 loose with La Sardina – Read on to see the shots and read what he has to say about our fresh photographic catch!
Name: Stephan Kaps
I’m a 30 year old breath-, speech- and voice teacher studying fine arts at Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HBK) Braunschweig (Germany) and spending lots of time in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
What do you most love about the La Sardina?
La Sardina is easy to use. You insert a film and shoot, shoot, shoot. Still it allows you to try different things like multiple exposures or long time exposures (B-setteting). La Sardina also stands so well for square and portrait format pictures, so you do not really need a tripod – a big plus!
How would you describe La Sardina in five words?
Can, light, wide, silent, simple
The strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest Lomographic encounter that you have ever had?
I really LOVE to try new products. It’s so exciting! And it is always nice to meet fellow lomographers!
Your advice to future La Sardina shooters?
I quote now: “Do not forget to set B back to N” and the general advice: don’t think – just shoot!
