If you want to ask what is the symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower might be a perfect answer!
The Eiffel Tower is in the seventh district of Paris, also the tallest structure in this area. Everybody knows this great symbol was built for the World’s Fair in 1887 and designed by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel.
If ever you get to visit this area, you definitely have to go to the top of the tower. I did twice when I was in Paris, because the first time the timing is not so good, couldn’t get a good chance to take photos, so I bought another ticket for another day that the time could cover the time of cue for elevator also to watch the night view of Paris. Booking the ticket on the internet will save you a lot of time, otherwise, you have a long cue for tickets, also for the elevator to the top.
There’s a Champ-de-Mars (Field of Mars) nearby the tower, after your visit to the tower you can take a rest here or maybe picnic or enjoy the sunshine with family and friends in the day time.
It’s really easy to get there, just take the RER C. to Champ de Mars/Tour Eiffel or you can take the Metro to Ecole Militaire on Line 8, and Bir-Hakeim on Line 6.
