We had a blast as Nadirah Zakariya showcased her latest work at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC Gramercy!
The room was filled with friends and art lovers as we all admired the work of long time LomoAmigo Nadirah Zakariya. The photographs were all taken with the always popular LC-A+. The entire room was full of laughter and conversation as these beautiful prints were admired by exhibition attendees. We were also lucky enough to have the local band SoftSpot playing a few songs to keep the evening going. It was truly an amazing night! Check out a few photos from the nights festivities.
March is Women's History Month and we want to take a closer look at the wonderful women behind cameras all over the country. Marissa Alper's work is reflecting her private life, and with it she is slowly tearing down the barriers she had to face as a female artist.
The TEN AND ONE Residency Week has been very intense and full of activities. From 11 to 18 November, we did LomoWalks around Vienna, guided visits to museums and magazine editorial office, a workshop, a trip to Bratislava, worked on our LomoWall and of course LomoLunch and LomoDinner. We had the opportunity to attend a Cyanotype Workshop at Lomography Head Quarter held by Michael Wuermer, a young and nice photographer and printer.
As of August 19th, we will no longer have an in-store film drop-off-service at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC. You can still send your rolls in for development with us through our LomoLab Online Service in our online shop.
