Your Rights vs. Mine, Punk Rock Style

I know, Your Rights vs. Mine is a song neither by the Ramones nor the Mistfits. But before you launch into a lecture on the punk rock era, read on.

A poster of the lyrical wants of the Ramones and the Misfits, two of the most seminal bands from the ’70s, is back. The screenprint sold out the first time it was released, proving the relevance of the music even decades later. Not that it needs proving.

Based on song titles with the word want – or wanna, in the Ramones’ case, the objects that each of the bands have any right to desire are plotted on pie charts. Ah, there’s nothing like a little statistics to tickle the brain cells.

The designer of the poster, Dan Gneiding AKA Grayhood, didn’t go wrong by tapping into music fans’ inner nerds. I know I got excited.
