Many a moon ago this was some dingy Turkish pool hall where, primarily, this was a dodgy-looking place for somewhat dodgy people to go and play pool. I’m sure during the day, this is still the case, however given it’s late licence and cheap booze once the sun sets (or, rather, at about 1:30 in the morning) Efes suddenly becomes a hangout spot for Dalston’s local trendy folk. It’s still dingy, with pool tables playing what looks like Turkish MTV (or knock off equivalent), except full of good looking twentysomethings with long hair and tight jeans.
