LomoPeople: RIP Fred Elliott

One of my favourite things to use my lomo cameras on are animals, of any variety really, but sadly with no more than a few spiders in my house and a shy guinea pig in the back garden, I had started to borrow Mr and Mrs next-Doors’ pug.

Last Monday was a sad day for fletchinski84 and I, when we found out about the death of our next door neighbours’ nine year old pug. Fred Elliott, or Freddie as he was affectionately known on our little row of terraces had had bad legs for a while now and more recently had begun to have bladder and breathing difficulties. He was always out and about with the next-doors, chatting over the fence with us and joining us for his favourite chicken at BBQs.

More recently he had become the mad rush ending to a Lomoproject I begun, with very little time to complete! He was round our house with a few of his toys, letting me finish up the roll I had in my Fisheye no. 2.

So rest in peace Fred and I hope there is lots of chicken in little pug heaven for you. You will be sadly missed around here, both through the lens and over the fence.
