Bluewater, Greenhithe, Kent

Bluewater is the second largest shopping centre in the UK occupying 1,600,000 square feet of space, what a great reason to go and shop there, shop ’til you drop!

Bluewater opened back in 1999 and to this day is standing strong and looking good, with lovely architecture.

It is in a triangular format with three anchor stores on each corner, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and House and Fraser. There are over 300 shops, ranging from accessories to clothing and food.

There is also a cinema with 13 screens and a gallery option for those who want a bit more comfort.

For those who have used all their energy from shopping and need a snack before the cinema, Krispy Kreme is at the rescue. Not like many of their other shops, the one in Bluewater allows you to view the production of the donuts, an interesting sight!

Bluewater is easily accessible on the A2 or you can get the train from Charing Cross, Waterloo East, and London Bridge, you can normally get a train every 15 minutes.
