I Admire: Triumphal Arch, Paris

For me, the Triumphal Arch is one of the places that I had to visit in Paris.

The Triumphal Arch has already seen more than 200 years of history at the Place Charles de Gaulle. At first, I couldn’t find the underground passage, so I walked around the square then found the way to the middle. The architecture is majestic and special, and the soldiers’ names that were on the wall impressed me a lot.

I couldn’t wait to get to the top and see the view of Paris, it must be very different from the Eiffel Tower. There’s a museum on the top that you can learn some history about the Triumphal Arch.

Fortunately, there was a ceremony of the soldiers, I’m lucky to see some “real” soldiers from the war, I admire their courage and sacrifices, my dad and uncle were from the air force and army, so I’m quite familiar on how life is like for such people.

Anyway, the Triumphal Arch is a pretty awesome place to visit and I like the radial style of those 12 avenues.
