Escape from the City: A Beach Holiday in Bali!

What do you do when you need to escape from hectic city life and your boring job? I needed a break from everything and decided to go on a holiday with my pals to Bali, a nearby island in Indonesia. It is famous for its pretty beaches and is also one of the sites where Eat, Pray, Love was filmed!

Bali is the largest tourist destination in Indonesia and is renowned for its art culture, temples, and beaches. It is only a 3-hour flight from Singapore and suitable for a short escape from city life to relax and recharge yourself.

We visited Tanah Lot, a temple that is situated beside the sea and is famous as a good spot to enjoy the sunset. You can take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the sea breeze and wait for the sun to set.

Another good way to recharge and relax in Bali would definitely be to visit any of the beaches there! My pals and I went down to Geger Beach, which is only accessible by car. It was further away from the popular main beaches and was much less crowded. You can just pay a small amount of money to rent a beach chair for the whole day. What better way to relax and spend the afternoon than by just lying down on a beach chair and falling asleep to the cool sea breeze and waves?

Bali is a great location for a short trip to take a break from your job and busy lifestyle. There are numerous temples for you to explore, lovely beaches to relax and soak up the sun, and many, many other interesting/fun things to do. It is now one of my top few spots for an escape from the city!
