Freeway Art x F. Sionil Jose Collection Launch x Lomography

Last May 31st, Lomography Embassy Manila invited us, the web team of Lomography Manila, to launch another collaboration of Freeway Art and their National Artists Collector’s Series. Mr. Francisco Sionil Jose, one of the Philippines’ living national artists, is their latest featured artist.

To celebrate Mr. Francisco Sionil Jose’s (also known as Manong Frankie) contributions to the Philippine culture and literature, excerpts from his famous works were read and dramatized by one of the most talented actresses in Philippine film and theater, Miss Cherie Gil, and by a young but very influential musician and poet, Mr. Lourd de Veyra, with the musical accompaniment of Mr. Ferdie Medina. The event was hosted by a world-renowned Filipina ballerina, Miss Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and was held at The Row in Glorietta 5, Makati City.

Of course, here are the film photographs we took during the event!
