Fun in the Sun with Lomography ISO 800

On a recent trip to America, I picked up from urban outfitters in San Francisco a Diana Mini and Lomography ISO 800 film. This film is great for shooting in dark cities and even at night. Double exposures work best.

I usually shoot digital but when in America, I decided to pick up a Diana Mini and Lomography Color Negative 800 film. The day that I bought this was very dark and gloomy, so I thought it was perfect for the conditions, but it comes in a 3 pack, and also with 36 exp. (great value!) so if conditions changed I thought there would be a fairly big chance of over exposing some pictures.

On the first day of shooting with the camera I was indoors. I thought a lot would be under exposed, but if double exposed, handled very well. Most of the days I was shooting on were bright and sunny, and I thought with ISO 800 film I may need less light. But when I received the shots back from the lab I was pleased to see no over exposures or under exposures. I would recommend this film for low light, city photography, or even general everyday photography.

Pros: Cheap, value for money, good for any light

Cons: Colours weren’t that bright
