Zoo of Bordeaux-Pessac

Just near Bordeaux, you’ll be surprised to find some rare animals from all continents in this zoo.

The Zoo of Bordeaux-Pessac has a total of 250 animals and has over 100,000 visitors a year. You’ll find everything in this zoo from crowned cranes, flamingos, ostriches, wallabies, yellow mongooses, tapirs, capybaras, otters from Asia…

You can also go to the “Savannah”; into the heart of Africa and you’ll see giraffes, zebras, antelopes, ostriches, pelicans, and African birds.

If you have kids, you can go to the mini farm where you can hand feed the animals. For lunch, you can either go to the snack bar or to the picnic area.

You can also purchase extra film at the gift shop. Don’t forget to ask what time is the parrot show. I would recommend going there by car.

First of all, I really appreciate being able to join the TEN AND ONE Residency Week in Vienna along with super cool Lomographers! We could never have any forgettable memories. The members are 11 people from 10 countries. I thought it'd be difficult to communicate with each other because of our different cultures, languages, personalities, etc. But we didn't have any worries. We respected each other, above all we are Lomographers!
