Analogue Indulgence: The Feline Family

We all have our favourite photographic subjects when shooting in analogue and one of the usual and universal subject that is loved by many belong to the Kingdom Animalia: CATS! Actors, artists, musicians, and even writers — they all have one thing in common: their very own furry, lovable friends.

This statement is both an exaggeration and a world-wide truth as evidenced in all the purr-tastic Lomographic photographs of cats taken from around the globe. Their captivating eye colors, fuzzy fur, and affectionate paws are unendingly adorable! As cat lovers and, at the same time, analogue enthusiasts, it is imperative for us to take film photographs of our loverly kitties even if they’re just merely sleeping on the windowsill or just plainly staring or meowing at us. Inevitably, we adore having our own pictures taken with them, too! Just like a number of fabulous celebrities… even they couldn’t help it because, aye — cats are always all sorts of awesome and cute!

To add a little fun whilst browsing the collection of meow-nderful feline pictures and their masters (some are film stills) I’ve compiled below, you may listen to this playful song “I Am a Cat” by Shonen Knife! Enjoy! :3
