Diana is lookin' a little bit fishy

Want a 180-degree shot? Want it with your Diana F+? Done and done!

After the introduction of the Diana F+, the Diana was given the ability to switch out her lenses, giving the photographer at hand unlimited possibilities.

With the Diana+ 20mm Fisheye Lens, you get to take photos of 180 degrees of vision, capturing your surroundings and warping them to wrap the center of the image.

I have found that the fisheye lens works best with 120 film since you can see the entire warped image. The Diana+ 35mm Back will cut the top and bottom off, but if you like sprockets with your warping, you have this ability as well.

I have also found particular success with the Diana+ Instant Back while using the Fisheye. it still crops the image and top and bottom, but only the tiniest bit.

I love taking pictures where there is a lot of light in the image, which if at the right angle, can produce some reflection on the inside of the barrel. With the fisheye lens, I have actually caught one of my best lomographs to date, and it also has this nice in barrel light effect.

If you like Fisheye, and you like all the possibilities that the Diana can offer you, than this is surely the combo you should get.

Lomo on!
