Take your Lomo Friend Outdoors to the Parks and Funfairs

2011-06-09 1

With the sun out, and the news reporting that its the hottest day of the year in the UK, its time to find some venues and activities and start shooting outdoors.

Being a newbie to Lomography I decided to use the opportunity to join some of the Lomo walks from the Lomography Gallery Store Soho in London. Equipped with the LC-A+, we went to the Carters Steam Fair in London.

With brilliant weather, we had the Lomography X Pro Slide 100 loaded in the Russian beauties and what a lovely surprise it was, rich strong colours was just one of the results.

Although not really a fairground lover, as heights and turning upside down is not my thing, the fairground is definitely a good place to take interesting shots, including rides,

Games,

food,

and even self reflections.

Not only have I fallen in love with my new friend, the LC-A+, I am now seeking further opportunities to shoot outdoors and events like this, shooting two rolls of film was easy at this location for me and I bet it will be for you too! So find your friend and load it up with some slide and off you go!
