How analogue became digital 25 years ago!

We unearthed this clip from British TV programme Tomorrow’s World, that shows how negatives were scanned to disc 26 years ago. They could save up to fifty pictures on a tiny disk! Wowsers!

We couldn’t help but chuckle when we saw the scanning set-up in this vintage video. Seriously, a huge video camera to scan in one negative? By comparison, spending an evening with your scanner and digitaliza mask doesn’t seem so bad now does it?

Technology has come an awful long way in the last quarter century, thank goodness, even for us analogue lovers. For the very best in lab technology don’t forget we have our very own London LomoLab, where lab Dr. Jack will process your negs, print them, and scan EVEN MORE than fifty shots to a tiny CD. Gosh!

What is she wearing? A mixture from a coat and a jacket or did she steal a clown´s clothes? Maybe she also wear these gigantic clown shoes? :)

'' doesn't she look like a heap with no make-up on?'' - her words not mine!
