Pinhole Diana+

My very first pinhole, was a Diana camera. Not the vintage one, but the new Lomo release, the Diana+. This cam has something special: first, it’s a Diana, second it’s a pinhole: you can remove the lens, and take pics!

How does the magic work ?

Well, in fact, you don’t really need a lens to take pics : a little hole – a pinhole – is enough!

Of course, the aperture of the Diana+ pinhole is f 1/138, and with this you won’t catch a Ferrari or a running horse !

But try landscapes with water: the waves of the sea, waterfalls, rivers… The result will be magical.

Of course your pics will be better if you use a tripod, because in full sunny light, with a 50 iso film, you’ll have to expose your film for about 1 sec, which is a low speed.
In the afternoon, a speed of 2-4 sec is fine for the water.

If you like blur, you can even use the Diana pinhole without any tripod !
