The Splitzer is a great little thing to add to your camera that quarters and halves your photos and mixes it all up for an amazing concoction of Lomographic pleasure!
There are two Splitzer’s available: one for LC-A+ and the other one for Diana(F)+. The LC-A-Splitzer is simply put in front of the lens. You may have wondered what these strange lines on your LC-A+ front are good for: fixing the Splitzer or Wide Angle Lens. Diana+ Splitzer fits directly on the lens (And it fits on your Holgas, too!!!)
The technique is simple. You cover a part of the lens, so that part of the picture remains dark and make a double- exposure after turning the Splitzer a bit. The opening is from ½ to 1/8 and you can change it however you want. So you can shoot a part and make a double- exposure with the complete image and combine different openings and Splitzer settings.
If you want to do some funny image morphing (e.g. put another ones head on your pet like SplitCam allows you, but here with more possibilities) , test double exposures and combine funny things, you should try Splitzer. It is real fun!
