We all knew that the LSi have one foot in the future and one foot in the past, but know the whole world knows. Amid the 35 winners of the European Consumer awards the Lomography Spinner 360 sits proudly. With a staggering score of 9.7 out of 10 this little plastic wonder has wowed the judges. the final scores were Design : 9.8, Ease of use : 9.5, Innovation : 9.8. It is not suprising to us in the analog world of photography as we were all wowed this year by the spinner. Well done Spinner and here’s hoping that there are many more innovations on the way from the LSI

Solène Ballesta is a Parisian photographer who started photography at 15 years old. This talented photographer was awarded in 2014 by the special mention of the young fashion photography Picto Awards. In her shots, Solène drives us to an enchanted world. For this series, she used the Daguerreotype Achromat Art Lens and she's telling us the story of a woman who is waiting for someone or something in her small theater and who decides to venture to the morning mist. “It is the uncertainty that charms one. A mist makes things wonderful.” said Oscar Wilde.

When material scientist Micaela Sousa aka Nomadic by Choice took up a camera to start her photographic journey, she made our world a little brighter. Elegantly combining colors in straight and chic compositions, she captures everything from jade-green plants to backstage scenes of fashion and ballet shows. She tested the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens for us and captured tender portraits of femineity.
