St Christopher's Place

Almost hidden from view when you’re walking down Oxford Street is a great place for an escape from the overcrowded streets of London’s busy West End.

I love the chaos and the overcrowded streets around Oxford Circus but sometimes it’s all getting a bit too much: too many people, buses, cars, traffic, noise. But don’t worry, a remedy is not far away! Make your way through one of the walkways into the courtyard of St Christopher’s Place and voilà, a relaxing atmosphere awaits you with lovely cafés, restaurants, and some great bars perfect for a little after work drink. There’s often some live music as well. And if you haven’t had enough shopping, browse through all the little shops and boutiques. I recommend Mrs Kibble’s Olde Sweet Shoppe with jars full of yummy goodies and sweets, Petit Chou with natural, colourful wooden toys and the Amber Centre where you can find beautiful amber jewellery. But there’s plenty more to discover!

Entrance at the alleyway is just opposite Bond Street Station.
