In 2009, I got the opportunity to go to a London Fashion Week show at Somerset House as a camera assistant. Whilst on a lunch break, I took some summer photos of Somerset House and its views of the Thames.
Sitting on the River Thames, Somerset House hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. It hosts several shows as part of London Fashion Week as well as many concerts and gigs. In addition, London Kings College, a restaurant and exhibition area are all housed within Somerset House and its close proximity. It is also just a short walk away from a ton of London sights including Tower Bridge, St. Pauls’ Cathedral and the London Eye.
For the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 show, I was there to gain some video and camera experience for the Todd Lynn catwalk show. It was great fun. I also returned to Somerset House that evening for an after show party/exhibition for Show Studio.
I managed to get some cool double exposures that day of Somerset House and the Thames on my LC-A with a Kodak Pro 100ISO Colour Negative.

At the end of October last year, René Burri, a great master of photography of the last century, passed away. As a tribute to him, I would like to show you some photos that I took last month at EXPO 2015 in Milan, which was inspired by his series featuring the world's fairs held in Osaka, Okinawa, and Montreal. Take a look!
Some months ago the wonderful city of Matera, chosen as the European Capital of Culture 2019, hosted an exhibit featuring the works of an important Italian social photographer: Pepi Merisio, who had also donated all photos shown to the local public library. To pay homage to this great artist, I have selected a series of photos that I took in this place last summer. Take a look!

The invention of the railway was a hallmark event of the 19th century, boosting the economy and creating opportunities that were deemed impossible back then. Here are some photos to take you back in time.
When material scientist Micaela Sousa aka Nomadic by Choice took up a camera to start her photographic journey, she made our world a little brighter. Elegantly combining colors in straight and chic compositions, she captures everything from jade-green plants to backstage scenes of fashion and ballet shows. She tested the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens for us and captured tender portraits of femineity.
Alternative folk act Bear's Den is set to embark on a UK tour to promote the album "Islands," which was released in October 2014. But before going on tour, the British trio, composed of Andrew Davie (vocals, guitar), Kevin Jones (vocals, drums) and Joey Haynes (vocals, banjo), captured some of their summer memories on film with the Sprocket Rocket.
This article is dedicated to one of the finest British sport photographers, Monte Fresco. In his 30 years of reportage for the Daily Mirror, he took some of the most iconic photographs in sporting history. He covered football, tennis, and boxing. But it is his ice skating pictures that I am most fascinated with. Using my own lens, I give him a modern tribute.
Taiwan-based analogue photographer BlackDog Wu used to be a full time photographer; now he is an owner of a coffee shop. He still loves taking photos, so he took the Lomo'Instant Wide with him to the streets of Taiwan and shot some portraits.
