Portobello Market

2011-04-08

A very nice antique market to spend a few pounds on and have a nice time on a Saturday morning. The street musicians there will keep you entertained too.

Portobello Road goes straight through the heart of Notting Hill, the trendy area of London made famous by the film of the same name. Indeed, so famous is the film Notting Hill that I find scarcely a week goes by without someone asking me about the various set locations: the blue door, the travel bookshop, the garden fence and so on.
