A prize question will award the winner with a Diana+, while the barbeque will keep the hunger levelled. Live DJs on the spot! The Lomographic Society in Slovakia is growing strong!
A new center for British photography will open in Bristol, recognizing the photographer Martin Parr and his legacy and significance to photography with selected works from of contemporary artists from the British Isles.
On the fourth day of Residency Week in Vienna, Lomography organized a day trip to Bratislava for us. The capital of Slovakia is only an hour away from Vienna by train so the trip turned out to be a wonderful idea. We were supposed to meet on the main railway station Hauptbahnhof.
To celebrate the 25 year anniversary of Lomography we are building an 8.5 meter long Lomowall on Ganton st, just off of Carnaby St in the centre of London. This is one of a series of hundreds of LomoWalls dotted across the globe. Join us for the launch party on November 9th from 6pm.
A few months ago we set up a series of competitions asking you to submit your best shots representing different cities from all over the world. The winners were chosen and the UK team set to work on the 8.5 meter Ganton St Lomowall.
Lomography Gallery Store Soho hosted a new exhibition of analogue photographs by Charlie Phillips entitled 'London is the Place for Me'. We also held a Meet the Artist evening, inviting questions from the attendees to gain a better understanding and hear the back stories behind the work on display.
Iván Martín Gonzalez is a photographer from Madrid, whose work is characterized by an intimate, delicate style. He shares with us a series of photographs that he has shot with the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens.

This talented Chicago-based artist and a freelance photographer amazed us with her work from the very start. Clarissa Bonet is inspired by the structures of the city, their impact on the body and she enjoys exploring aspects of the urban space in different contexts.
A slight contrast to what is usually on display in The Rubin Museum of Art in Chelsea, Henri Cartier-Bresson's work has taken place for some time in the scared home of many ancient Himalayan artworks and pieces of the surrounding areas, including India.
Lomography NYC had the opportunity to collaborate recently with The Studio Museum of Harlem, New York City. Students of the Expanding the Walls residency helped from start to finish on the building of a LomoWall, which was then debuted at an Uptown Fridays party!
