Fuji Provia 100F (35mm, 100 iso) User-Review

If you love blues, greens and yellows then you’ll love this film! A must have film for beach goers. This roll expired in 2006 and still produced amazing results. This WILL be a contender for your new favorite film!

The Fuji Provia 100F was my first foray into the wonderful world of cross processing, and its got me hooked! I expected the results to be slightly blue tinged, man, I was surprised when I picked up the purple negatives from the camera shop!

Having no scanner of my own I rushed home with the CD containing my pictures and wasting no time, checked them out. The results were stunning, nothing like I had ever taken before. The combination of this film, the Diana Mini and the picturesque beaches of Golden Bay, New Zealand was perfect. The sand glows, the crystal clear water is portrayed beautifully, and the sky becomes like no other sky you have seen before. With lots of sun, don’t expect to be able to take properly exposed multiple exposure shots, but who really cares? With this film you don’t need MX to get awesome photos.

If you like low contrast, high saturation photographs, don’t mind not being able to take MX shots and of course LOVE the colors green, blue and yellow then you simply MUST try this film at least once!

These are wonderful photos! I switched from Diana Mini to Golden Half because I had a nightmare with mine - super impressed with your shots with the Mini! :D
