RECAP: See the World Through Rose Coloured Glasses Workshop at LGS Toronto!

Love was in the air this past Saturday in Toronto, and what film would be more appropriate to capture this special emotion than the Lomography Redscale?

Now, one must keep in mind that Toronto is not exactly the kind of city where couples can go for a special Valentines Day picnic or walk on the beach in mid-February—its just too damn cold! So we had to look for love in other places. First we garnished our Lomo-love with the former King of Kensington, Canadian actor Al Waxman, who has a statue in his honor in Bellevue Park, right in the center of Kensington Market. After our tantric experience with Toronto’s king we then emoted (using our cameras) all over the back alleys of Chinatown and the rooftops of U of T. The T-Dot has a lot of love to give; you just have to know the right exposure!

Don’t want to miss out on future workshops? All workshops are $10 ($7 for students) and include a free roll of film. If you bring your own camera, we’ll give you 50% off the price of the workshop! All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store.

I've developed and posted the roll from that day that I shot with my Holga 135. Still have a few more shots to take before the roll in the Yashica Lynx 14e is ready. It was fun. I'll return for more when possible.
