Can you make more than photos with your camera? The answer is yes, yes, yes!
Cha Blasco, my Lomo-godfather as well as a musician and composer, is the reason I am writing now.
We met at MySpace a long time ago. Since then we have been collaborating from a distance. He in Tarragona, and me in Tenerife (Canary Islands). We have the World Wide Web to thank for this, obviously.
We created a Lomo page in Oci Magazine, from Valencia, and we worked together in this section from an abstract and personal point of view. We also created a Flickr group for our Lomo Queso, por favor!, with 10,000 Lomo photos from all over the world.
I never tire of making tributes to this great Lomographer. His genius deserves it. Besides, it was him who introduced me to this world. He gave me clues, he gave me tips. Working with him has always been a pleasure, and it always will be.
A few months ago, I recorded a Lomo psychedelic video. This could not have any other musical score except his. See, his first passion is composing. He does it with instruments, a computer and a console.
I recorded the video with my Holga, my very first camera. I bought it at the Embassy in Barcelona, where he now works. This is one of the reasons why this video has so much meaning.
Here is the video. Enjoy!
