Bthere, the Inflight Magazine of Brussels Airlines, has recently paid homage to our analogue love Lomography! Check out what they had to say after the jump!
Bthere Magazine has been trusted with the task of entertaining weary travelers to and from Brussels and they’ve just featured something that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! They delve into the history of Lomography and how it plays a part in Austria’s business community.
Here’s an excerpt from Lomography PR manager Corrina Bauer:
“We believe in an analogue future in a digital age. All our employees are true Lomographers. We are continually developing new cameras to enable greater experimentation and creativity, while providing an online platform where Lomographers can share their creations, thoughts and ideas. We will never stop proving the future is analogue.”
WeeklyImogen is more than a photography Youtube Channel. Their content is mostly composed of photographic tips, tutorials, behind the scenes of photoshoots, as well as product reviews. We sent them our Lomography Petzval 85 Art Lens and here is what they had to say.
Tony Lim often hosts Diana exhibitions, and he even has a collection of vintage models he cherishes himself. Hear what he has to say about the medium format queen of the analogue universe in this interview.
Lomography Greece, in partnership with Skiadopoulos Photographic equipment, held a Lomo workshop for young scout members in Néa Smírni, Greece. After all, what's a better way to spend the weekend than passing the torch of analogue love and the Lomographic movement to children?
This past year Lomography UK sent out some of our cameras and lenses to be tested out by our most prolific community members and instant photography fanatics. Here is a snapshot of what they experienced and a selection of their best images.
You already had the pleasure of meeting this talented female photographer through our interview recently. Her name is Eleonora Sabet and her work will allow you to enter into a whole new world that she has created all by herself.
The TEN AND ONE Residency Week has been very intense and full of activities. From 11 to 18 November, we did LomoWalks around Vienna, guided visits to museums and magazine editorial office, a workshop, a trip to Bratislava, worked on our LomoWall and of course LomoLunch and LomoDinner. We had the opportunity to attend a Cyanotype Workshop at Lomography Head Quarter held by Michael Wuermer, a young and nice photographer and printer.
Photographer Ruby June and husband Philip Maxwell teamed up with electronica pop artist Laney Lynx to create this lovely Lomo-esque music video for her new song "Getaway" that has us dreaming of summer time. Check out the premiere here!
Not only are our cameras great for taking photos, but sculptor Tom Sachs proves that the possibilities for their uses artistically are endless. Check out how he used one of our products in his recent exhibition entitled "Swiss Passport Office."
They say art destroys lives, just the way Vincent Van Gogh met his demise. It's a stereotype that creativity happens at the expense of our sanity. It is the other way around. Art saves lives, and photography has saved much more in the modern world.
They say it's a small world, but our critter friends beg to differ. From an ant's point of view, the world is vast and overwhelming. Lomography's Fisheye No. 2 mimics this unique angle for a fresher photographic perspective.
Love is in the air here at Lomography and in lieu of our 25th anniversary, what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day by going back to the 101 and the Lomo basics? Here’s how Lomographers captured retro love, in the soulful beat of the 90’s.
