RECAP: Lubitel Lovers & Spool is in Session Workshops in NYC

In NYC we finished out the snowy month of January with a weekend of Lomographic workshops. Check it out.

In Greenwich Village we gave an intro to our twin-lens wonder, the Lubitel. We talked about the basics of manual cameras and then got a little deeper into fun techniques such and multiple exposures and endless panoramas. After the presentation and discussion our eager Lomographers hit the streets to try the camera for themselves.

The following day over at the Gramercy shop, Spool was in Session! We learned how to make sense of the magical world of film. Armed with our new knowledge, emulsions and cameras were chosen, and then we headed over to snowy Madison Square Park to try them out.

If you couldn’t make it to these workshops, you still have plenty of chances! Check out what we have lined up for February.

All workshops are $10 ($7 for students) and includes a free roll of film. Bring your own camera for FREE admission! All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store.
