Gabai Waterfall

2011-02-11 2

Don’t know what to do during your holiday or spare time? Tired of the hustle and bustle of city life? Trying to have some fun and have some memorable time with your family or friends? Gabai Waterfall is the exact place that’s suitable for you. So gear up and head to Gabai Waterfall, Selangor. This beautiful place is perfect for those who love to swim and enjoy the green environment

Gabai Waterfall is a heaven for every environmental lover. The clear cold water , the chirping of the birds and the untouched nature will amaze you and soothe your feeling – sucking you back to the origin where the nature is untouched instead of skyscrapers and vehicles. As most of us are tired of our studies, work, etc. we need some time for ourselves, family and friends. Forget all your problems, clear away the city dust from your sight and straight away drive to Gabai Waterfall located in Selangor, Malaysia.

To visit the Gabai Falls, first you have to go to Ulu Langat, a small village which can be reached from Cheras or Ampang. Next you follow the road to Kg Pangsun for about 7km until Batu 18 where you turn right. After 6km you will see the signboard for the Falls. Turn left and follow the road until the carpark.

From the carpark it is not far to the first cascade. This cascade is tall but not very steeply inclined. Visitors can find a nice place on the rocks and enjoy their bath with jacuzzi. It is possible to continue after the cascades, just following the stream. As a reward you will find another attractive waterfall! The water between the two rock faces is very deep, only suitable for good swimmers.

The best thing about Gabai Waterfall is the “sliding rock” where you can do lots of stun, have lots of fun without hurting yourself. You can do either the “train formation” with your friends or you can have solo slide all by yourself. It’s suitable for everyone, from kids to adults.

If you intend to make BBQ, you can bring your thing along as there is one place that’s suitable for the activity

Lastly, make sure you have enough stamina as you have to climb lots and lots of stairs to reach the peak of the waterfall. Have fun guys!

    Trusty Bags for Trusty Cameras

We spend copious amounts of time stalking camera forums and researching specifications that "hunter" seems a more fitting term than "collector." And yet, when the time comes to pack all this game—the new or thrillingly ancient cameras—we DIY padding on the spot. (Guilty of trying to avoid the unappealing gear bag from the department store.) Last year though we stocked up on camera bags that are as cool as they are protective. Here are some of them.
