Visit Jasper, Canada for some great times up north in the mountains. Hiking around will get you lost in the culture and who knows, it might even change your life. Trying out an activity such as this is a welcome change especially if you have a fast-paced lifestyle.
Jasper Canada is one of the best travel destinations in Western Canada. Each year, thousands of tourists from all over the world come to this little mountain town and have the time of their lives. I was fortunate enough to live in the shadow of the mountains in this town for most of my life. There is no place like it. At any time, you can see wildlife in and around the town; you experience exquisite dining and lodging, and meet the coolest people. Everyone there is a ski bum with Marmot basin being only fifteen minutes from the townsite, and when the snow melts, the citizens of Jasper take to the mountains to go hiking or chilling in the hot springs. If you ever get the chance to visit Jasper, I highly recommend it. It will blow your mind.
Many of my childhood memories were spent in Jasper. I had many Christmases in the lodge, many ski trips with my family, and a lot of time spent at the pool. Jasper is a fun place for Lomography because of the terrain, the quirky buildings, and animals. Taking a panorama from atop of the Jasper tramway is an especially good idea. During the winter, there are ice carving competitions as a part of “Jasper in January” and tons of activities and architecture to take advantage of.
