London is a fantastic city. Aside from its rich history and culture, there are just so many exciting sights to see and explore. It is a great pleasure to visit London. Every time, there is something new to explore in London. Here are a few suggestions.
If you like art, then I will recommend the Tate Modern to you. It is an art museum of modern art, from Andy Warhol to Claude Monet. It was a power station before being turned into a gallery. It is situated in the Southbank of London. Tate Modern is very close to the Millennium Bridge, after visiting the gallery, you can walk along the Southbank and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Thames, or cross the river via Millennium Bridge and visit St Paul’s Cathedral on the same day.
If you love nature, then do not miss out on Kensington Garden. It is a nice place for relaxation with some squirrels and lots of birds. You can also see the Albert Memorial.
It is also very enjoyable to cycle around Central London. If you have a UK address, then you may hire a bicycle from Barclays Cycle, which is everywhere in London. You may also hire one from London Bicycle Tour Company, and cycle on the streets of London. It is very cool, especially if you cross the river on a bicycle and cycle along the banks. You can see the Parliament and Big Ben from a distance.
If you are a fan of animals, then don’t miss out on the London Zoo.
If you go there during the summer (in August), then you might come across Notting Hill Carnival. It takes place on the street of Notting Hill on Bank Holiday.
Other than the above mentioned, there are still a lot to see in London.
