7 lomolucky years to whoever likes this review!
The lomoluck does not abandon me. One night I went to 25 Anniversary of the LC-A party in the Lomographic Embassy in Madrid, a few days before my brother had given Diana and was excited.
The party was sponsored by Cacique Mojito Moreno, a rum brand. At the entrance there was a lady who gave me a coupon to fill with my data to participate in a raffle of ‘something’. I thought about it for a while, because I knew then I would be receiving Cacique advertising by mail all time, but in the end I cheered and filled the coupon.
And now you can imagine how the story goes, don’t you?. The next day I received a phone call and Marigel (@makny) told me I won a “Fisheye:http://shop.lomography.com/cameras/fisheye-cameras”, with submarine crab and also a box of Cacique Mojito Moreno, glasses, ice bucket, little board, knife… I couldn’t believe it, in a few days I had the wonderful Diana F+, a funny Fisheye and a lot of rum to celebrate, wooohooo!.
The Fisheye is a compact camera, great and surprising. Its lens sees everything, has a viewing angle of 170 degrees that creates spectacular distortions. Works with 35mm film and has flash. For shooting I recommend you to get close, really close, to the item you want to photograph and “don’t think, just shoot”. It has very good depth of field, so it gets sharp in the foreground and background. The colors are very powerful and very good contrast, because this camera has a great glass lens. Conclusion: COOOOOL!
With its submarine crab this camera could be one of the most fun summer toys, if you want to see some underwater photos click “here”: http://lomography.es/magazine/cameras/2010/04/30/bajo- del-mar-under-the-sea.
May the lomoluck be with you, Susie.
