We’ve received and seen your interpretations of “New Generation” and we and deinblick are more than happy to announce the winners. Ladies and gentlemen, here they are!
Our little collaboration last month with deinblick magazine saw the community in action again, receiving a whopping 1,824 analogue submissions in total. It was quite a challenge for our friends over at deinblick to pick the winners but here are the photos that encapsulated the “New Generation” that we are looking for!
Congratulations go out to iantheman who wins one of the members of Lomography’s New Generation of cameras – the Sprocket Rocket! The runners-up will also be featured in deinblick’s New Generation issue (published 20th January – save your copy!)
Thanks a lot to all of you that joined the competition!
We asked you to upload your best portrait photos for the Lomography X Carol Rumble. We received hundreds of inspiring analogue shots from fun sprocket rocket holiday snaps to perfectly crisp studio portraits. Find out if you've won here.
In partnership with Leuchtturm1917, we were on the hunt for the most colorful pictures in your LomoHomes. You accepted our challenge and submitted more than one thousand brightly colored photos! The time has come to choose the winners.
We wanted to see outstanding and utterly exciting analog photos that capture the essence of music festivals, and you sent your very best. You all did such an amazing job. It's time to announce who the lucky winners are.
We had a huge response to the Lomography x Life competition and the Black and White theme showed off what great photographers you all are. It was a tough decision to make but we've finally chosen the winners. Will it be you?
Lomography and The Cult teamed up to invite Lomographers to show us your Hidden Cities - those secret places that you escape you, the worlds within worlds. See the winners and some of our favorites here!
We're grateful for the overwhelming support from all our KickStarter backers. For those who were late to the party, we're happy to let you know that the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens is now available for pre-order in the shop! Estimated delivery date slated for January 2017!
We've had some amazing entries for the Lomography x V&A: A Paul Strand Competition and it has been very hard to choose the best. But we have finally narrowed it down to three favorite photographs. Find out if you've won here.
We spend copious amounts of time stalking camera forums and researching specifications that "hunter" seems a more fitting term than "collector." And yet, when the time comes to pack all this game—the new or thrillingly ancient cameras—we DIY padding on the spot. (Guilty of trying to avoid the unappealing gear bag from the department store.) Last year though we stocked up on camera bags that are as cool as they are protective. Here are some of them.
Last year, the directors and filmmakers Amaury Voslion and Richard Dumas asked us if they could borrow the Petzval 58 Bokeh Control art lens to shoot the Tindersticks’s new video. We were really enthusiastic to participate in this project! Today, we are happy to announce the exclusive launch of the video, right here on Lomography’s website! You’ve read it right: you are the FIRST ones to enjoy this new visual adventure straight from their latest album titled 'The Waiting Room.' Plus, Stuart Staples of Tindersticks, Amaury Voslion and Richard Dumas tell us more about themselves and their work in this exclusive interview.
We teamed up with Harper Collins to offer you the chance to win an Abandoned Places book and a Fisheye 2. We had many amazing "architecture" themed entries and the Lomography UK team found it very hard to choose the final five.
