Lomography And The Vintage Guide To London Rumble Winners Announcement!

We teamed up with the Vintage Guide to London and asked you for your most vintage style photos. We had some amazing shots, and here are the winners!

The Vintage Guide To London is THE guide to the UK Vintage scene, covering fashion, events, and news whether you’re a mod, rocker, chap, Fifties pin-up, Forties gal, Eighties enthusiast or merely curious about all things vintage, this is the place to find out whats a hapnin’!
Editor Lena Weber has selected her favourite shots from the thousands entered, this was a tough one to judge! And the winner is…..

Envy! Lena felt that this gorgeous shot is ‘very vintage, very London, and just looks great!’ Envy’s photo will be used as the new image of the Vintage Guide To London, on the website and promotional materials, and they will be featured in an interview in the Vintage Guide, a lovely opportunity for a lucky Lomographer!

Envy also wins a brand new Diana F+ Edelweiss, and a personal vintage styling session with Lena herself, which will be covered at a later date here in the Lomography Magazine.

Ten runners up also win ten piggy points each, they are…..

Congratulations to all the winners!

Fairly heavy on the female subject front and not particularly "London"... still, these are fabulous shots, congrats winners!

You're quite right, there are a lot of females in these photos, but i can assure you that's fluke, as the shortlist of 50 was drawn up by the Lomography UK team, and then sent to the Vintage Guide to choose the final selection. The brief was for the most 'vintage style' photo, not photos of London, so all of these winning shots fit the brief perfectly. I'm glad you like the shots, they are all thoroughly deserving winners

All comments intended as observations only, promise!:) As a PhD student of what constitutes a "good" visual image, I find it interesting to see what floats people's boats in this day and age and, inevitably, to try and use this to improve my own work... I clearly need to get my fitty friends to do some posing!
