Agfa APX 100 - Black and White World

Is Black and White World very dull, very boring? No, No, No…I don’t think so.

Recently, I used my piggy points and bought 2 rolls of Agfa APX 100 and put them into my Fisheye 1 and Voigtlander VITO CLR. To be frank, this is my first time using non-C41 black and white photographic film. It turned out to be pretty good. At the very beginning, I thought the film, having an ISO of 100 only would not suit my Fisheye 1. Luckily, most of them are not underexposed.

The greatest thing about this film is that it has film grains, and it has a great tone. The balance between Black and white is also very charming. The ideal situation would be taking photos with it on a sunny day, otherwise it would be a waste of resources.

Personally, I think the roll with Fisheye 1 produced a better result, compared to the VITO CLR.

Personally, I have a preference towards cross-processing of slides, which produces vibrant colours. Hence, I thought that the B&W world would be pretty dull. However, that simply isn’t the case at all. In a Black-and-White world, though there aren’t any amazing colours. However, it gives an indescribable feeling. Try it out!
