Start the year with a BANG in our January 2011 workshop sessions!

What better way to start the year than honing your Lomographic skills? Be it testing out your brand new cameras given over Christmas or starting up a new hobby shooting film… now is the time to try it all out!

We’re hosting a killer range of beginner workshop sessions to better acquaint you with our quirky cameras so pick the one that best suits or give one away to a friend and share the gift of analogue love this new year!

4th Jan, Tuesday 1pm – Sprocket Rocket
Start the year with a bang! Our first workshop of 2011 is with the the Sprocket Rocket. Test, learn and love the latest camera in our range.

5th / 12th / 19th / 26th January, Wednesdays 1pm – DianaF+
As she’s still the reigning queen of the Lomography throne, we’re offering 4 workshops to get to know this famous camera a little better and test out her accessories.

6th / 13th January, Thursdays 6pm – Lightpainting Sessions
Torches, LED lights and crazy colour flashes are what this workshop is all about. Draw with light and capture everything on long exposure in camera… an awesome way to experiment with light and our coloursplash cameras!

10th January, Monday 1pm – Diana Mini
Mini me! The Diana Mini is the smallest camera in our range and this is the perfect time to learn about this little cutie. Remember, size isn’t everything.

11th / 18th / 25th, Tuesdays 1pm – The one and only LC-A+
Many cameras have been compared to our precious flagship camera but all still pale in comparison. Come join this workshop and see what the fuss is all about!

17th / 24th January, Mondays 1pm – Lubitel 166+
Just looking through this twin lens beauty sends shivers down your spine. There is nothing like having full control over settings and having the power to manipulate your photos to your hearts content. Come and meet our lovely Lubitel.

20th January, Thursday 6pm – Film Types
Still not sure what speed you should be using or what film speed even is? Want to get in the loop about cross-processing and redscale and what those words even mean? Best come and learn all about the different film types and film and keep up to speed with analogue lingo.

27th January, Thursday 6pm – Plastic Fantastics
This workshop is dedicated to the Fisheye cameras, ActionSampler Flash, Pop 9’s and Coloursplash cameras. Get the low down on our plastic friends.


Tickets to all workshops are ₤10 and include the use of the camera, a roll of film to test with and 30min presentation plus a 10% discount on film processing. Please bring a valid ID if you’re borrowing a camera.
