This is the best time of year to hone your light-painting chops as the city is decorated in millions of tiny light bulbs to help you create magical streaks of light in all your photos! Not to mention the “festival of lights” beginning a couple of days later! Light-painters of NYC, join us at the NEW Lomography Gallery Store in Gramercy for this truly illuminating experience where you’ll learn to paint with flashes, light up a portrait with a flashlight, or simply tap into your inner Picasso and draw light masterpieces! This hit workshop comes to Gramercy for the first time and we promise it will be brilliant! Join us for a light-romp through Madison Square Park afterward with flashlights in hand!
Cost is $10 ($7 for students) and includes a loaner camera and flashlight, and a free roll of film!
