It took us 8 years to become a couple. We are having the time of our lives.
It was almost 12 years ago. We met through a mutual friend. I fell in love. But I thought, there’s no way it’s going to happen. We became very good friends and after a while we were seeing each other almost every day. We worked together, we ate together. After about 8 years of knowing each other, one day, we became lovers. Just like that. There are different theories about the reasons this happened. In any case, it was time. We both agreed that this is the way it had to be. We needed those 8 years to learn, evolve and deal with things that needed to be dealt with so that we can make it work. This beautiful thing that we have.
She is the most elegant creature I know. This portrait is not typical, and maybe that is why I like it – because it is still very much her. My love.
Many among us live double lives -- a member of the labor force by day, a passionate go-getter by night. it's difficult to break into the art world when you need money -- so most of us keep our creative lives as hobbies. For the photographer, he can do a little bit of both simultaneously.
A new year means a new set of goals and resolutions. Have you been listing your objectives for 2018? It's time to wake up from the holiday lethargy and be the go-getter you're meant to be. Allow this Monday Moodboard of ours to give you the right push!
The beauty of having different languages is that some concepts are estranged from us. That doesn't mean we can't relate to it, though. Let's put a name on the feeling of being overwhelmed by the universe with ‘degrassé’.
Have you ever imagined what it feels like to shoot with a 100-year-old camera? In the past four months, I have been shooting hundreds of photos with a Contessa Nettel Tessco. I don't know when was the last time its previous owner shot pictures with it. Perhaps 20 to 30 years ago?
Earlier this year, we gave New York-based filmmaker Parker Hill a Lomo'Instant Wide to experiment with. This summer she took it on a road trip, chasing the unique and nostalgic feeling of adolescence in the American South.
Our friends at Wayward are excited to carry the Lomo'Instant Square in all of their three stores now and called up a bunch of their very own West Coast Amigos to celebrate and test the camera. Austin Santiago is the first one and took it straight to SXSW
Celine Meunier has the gift of capturing soft moments in all simplicity, "images taken spontaneously but not stolen". Her photos remind us that beauty is everywhere, and we just have to seize it. During one of her travels to the South of France, she has tried our Neptune Convertible Art Lens System.
It's snowing outside, there's plenty of food on the table, there are Christmas gifts under the pine tree, your loved ones are with you back home... Today might just be the best Monday of the year. We present to you a very Lomographic Christmas Moodboard.
