Saturday was such a blast for the Lomography team over here at Photokina, from the warm hugs that Hairy Harry was dishing out, the hundreds of people ogling the LomoWall displays, the free-flowing vodka, and incredible analogue tunes!
Hairy Harry Conquering the Lomography Tower
You probably already know about Hairy Harry traveling the world and the Lomography team was felt all warm and fuzzy inside when all of them showed up at Photokina. The Lomography booth was just the right playground for this sweet orang-utans. They weren’t only the center of attention of several Lomography cameras, he could also climb the 5 meter tower. The lounge chairs were just the right place to relax then.
Saturday (Night) Fever
The Lomography booth was filled with people at this first day of the weekend. Twice as many people walked, crawled, slept, worked and danced in our Lomographic area. The line in front of the Jury grew longer and longer so we even had to get a second juror to listen to all the LomoLocation Proposals. We can’t wait to see the thousands of photos we will get from these ideas (imagine: even before the Analogue Arts Jury was out of duty more than 150 cameras were given away!). Could the free vodka shots have been helpful to stimulate the creativity?
Video Killed the Radio Star
One of our international guest, famous Pasquale from Lomography Spain, made a video impression about the all day crowded booth today:
Our Lomograhy DJ pumped up the volume to keep the Lomography Team going. We will go now produce our own Aanalogue Tunes in the Karaoke bar. See you tomorrow at the final day of photokina.
