Want a film that takes you out of reality and lets you view your world though the eyes of a dreamer? Provia 400x could be the one for you!
Let me just say to start with that I’ve never had huge colour shifts with this film. If you want that then Velvia is probably more up your street. With Provia though you get superb contrast and very dreamlike images. It works just as well in bright sun as with heavy cloud cover, and always looks great whenever I put it in my Diana F+. The image quality is superb, sharp where you want it and of a very high grain quality. Cross process this and the colours seem bolder but without shifting too much.
So why not let Provia 400x work its charms on you? You never know, it may find a regular place in your film bag…
