Even though it was a rainy day, we still Lomo-ed on! Ton is a internship student in Taiwan. He comes from the Netherlands, also he is a lomographer too. He can not speak Chinese and cannot type in Chinese either. So, he asked his friend to leave some messages on Lomography Taiwan.
The message was, “my name is Ton and i’m a medical student from the Netherlands. I am in Kaohsiung for an internship until the end of May so i was wondering if there are lomographers in Kaohsiung who would like to meet up and go to good places to take pictures with me. I have a Holga CFN120 and I like it very much! So if you would like this, let me know! I’m really looking forward to meeting people who shoot Lomography in Taiwan.” Since Kaohsiung is my hometown, of course I would love to have a lomotrip with a foreign visitor who also loves Lomography.
To get the activities going, I invited more friends who enjoy shooting with Lomographic cameras. And so we set the day for our trip. Then, we waited for the to come. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day which causeed some of my friends to miss the trip.
However, we decided to keep lomoing-on. It doesn’t matter if the weather is good or bad, we could still stay indoors and shoot. Even though it was rainy, we still made it a beautiful day in our own way.
