You might wonder where might be the 6th of the most beautiful water-falls of the world. This is it. “T Lor Su” The amazing water-fall, no question about it. It’s kind of tough to go up there from Bangkok. You need to take a bus from BKK to Tak and form Tak to “Umpang” and about 30 more kilo-meters to the T Lor Su.

The fun part is on the way to Umpang you have to experience 2,100 and something road curves to get there and it’s not just a curve is “U-Turn” curves. The bus will take you to the nearest camp before you reach the waterfall. You have to walk about 1.5 kilometers to get to the water-fall. The water-fall has many levels to climb up, but everything depends on your energy. The paths are not hard to follow, they have built a concrete path for a tourist to walk as well. Don’t worry, it’s not ruining the beauty of the nature, they are doing very good job of hiding the path so it becomes like a part of the nature. There are plenty of places to stay. They have a camping ground for campers. There are many nice resorts by the river around that area and they all have a shuttle bus to take you right up to the waterfall. Plenty of food for everybody more than you can eat, but you can not take any food up to the water-fall, even not a small bottle of water. This area is pretty famous among the foreign tourists, Thai people doesn’t really come up here. They say it’s too far. I agree it is too far, but it’s all worth it, trust me. And it is absolutely safe to swim there. I jumped off the cliff into the water myself, really refreshing water!

Well, when you get there, especially as a Lomographer, you won’t be disappointed. There is culture, the way of life, nature, water-fall and much more to shoot. You all should go there if you have a chance. The best year to go there is the end of raining season, around October or November.
