Muchos años atrás, este palacio fue un magnífico lugar de gran importancia, pero hoy sólo quedan recuerdos de lo que fue.
El palacio está ubicado a dos kilómetros de la ciudad de San Felipe, en el valle central de Chile. Su construcción se inició en el año 1886 por Arturo Edwards y finalizó en el año 1916.
Desde el punto de vista arquitectónico, el palacio era un réplica a menor escala del Palacio de Versalles, con más de 100 habitaciones, una piscina, espejo de agua y 5 hectáreas de parque, desafortunadamente el terremoto del año 1985 deja al palacio casi en ruinas. Actualmente sólo quedan los restos del subterráneo, cocinas y calabozos.
