Can you introduce yourself and tell us how you first got into photography?

Hello! I'm Klang, a fashion photographer. I seriously started getting into photography during my first year at Silpakorn University. At that time, I took a film photography class. I started by learning to shoot on film, and over time, I gradually moved into digital photography. It’s been a continuous journey ever since. Also, when I was a kid, I spent a lot of time around my father, who was a photographer. That allowed me to observe, learn, and absorb an natural interest in photography from a young age.

Why did you choose to work in fashion and portrait photography? What do you find most captivating about this style?

What I really love about it is the feeling I get when I go out to shoot and encounter new people, or see outfits that truly excite and inspire me. Those experiences always spark new ideas for me. When I’m shooting portraits, there’s something special about finding and capturing the natural beauty of a person. It’s a happy, fulfilling feeling like I’m gradually observing, getting to know, and understanding them more through the process. What I especially enjoy is photographing people. Each person has their own thoughts, emotions, and unique presence, and that’s the part I find most fascinating.

If you had to describe your photography style in one word or phrase, what would it be?

I’d define it as my own style as individual, creative, and contemporary

When starting a fashion shoot, how do you usually plan and prepare for a project?

In general, I start by checking the date and time of the shoot, and where the location will be. If it’s a street shoot, I look at whether the location suits the outfits, and what kind of mood or concept I want to express in the images. If it’s a studio shoot, the approach is similar. But the preparation for the team and other elements will vary depending on the specifics of each project.

Let’s talk about your latest photo set. Is there a special concept or idea behind these images?

Honestly, you could say it’s “according to your style.” When choosing the model’s outfits, I sent them the location details and told them, “Go ahead and style it however you like.” I gave them the freedom to create and improvise on the spot. I believe allowing the model to express themselves and improvise helps bring out their style and personality in the photos. To me, that’s what makes it truly special.

Among all the images, which one is your favorite and why?

The black-and-white photo of the woman with wavy hair sitting, with natural forest behind her. That image feels the most impactful to me. I also think it has a strong timeless quality.

What type of lenses do you usually prefer to use, and what do you consider when choosing a lens?

I usually choose characterful lenses that are very flexible and work well in many situations. The Nour Triplet lens, with its three adjustable effects, fits perfectly for a variety of scenarios and feels just right in my hands.

How did you feel when you first used the Nour Triplet V 2.0/64 Bokeh Control Art Lens ?

My first feeling when shooting with it was “wow.” Since I already enjoy using manual focus lenses, having the option to adjust different effects made shooting even more fun and creative. It also gave me a feeling that encouraged me to be more deliberate and careful with each shot, which really enhanced the overall experience.

The Nour Triplet Art Lens has three effects: Classic, Bubble, and Soft Focus. Have you tried all of them? Which one do you like the most?

Yes, I have tried all the effects. I like the Bubble effect the most.

For young people who want to start in fashion photography, do you have any advice?

I would recommend studying and practicing a lot. Look at art frequently and study the work of artists you admire. Sometimes inspiration doesn’t come from far away, it can come from your everyday life.
