2 16We've come to take spring as synonymous with rebirth. After the gloom and introspection of winter, this season signifies the gradual return to sunnier and livelier days. In this community gallery, we celebrate this season through film photos from our community members taken in sun-lit springtime.
Aside from being a season of beginnings, spring is also the season of fresh gatherings, when many travel plans materialize after the slumber of the previous season. For many film shooters, the arrival of spring is an invitation to go out again and capture life as the colors return.
Film camera in hand, going out to take photos of whatever catches our attention is never a bad idea. While winter can urge us to take our time to rest and reflect, springtime encourages us to embrace our surroundings once again and to put in place some plans we were just idealizing before.
