Community Gallery: It's Beginning to Feel A Lot Like the Holidays

Whichever way we celebrate it, the last month of the year evokes a distinct excitement and familiar views—a hopeful and sentimental time of the year. In this gallery, we're looking at images shared by our community members on film which will surely remind us of the coming season.

The Holidays mean a lot of things to different people – snowy landscapes, the warmth of comfort movies, and our loved ones gathered in one place, either for the Christmas celebration or to usher in the New Year. It's also the sound of Christmas carols playing everywhere, the Holiday rush taking over agendas, fireworks, good food, and gifts, for other people or for ourselves.

While celebrations vary from culture to culture, the end of the year inspires gatherings and reflections—the time to take a breather. We look back on a year that's about to end, perhaps hopeful and filled with anticipation for another year ahead.

Whether we celebrate it or not, the Holidays can also mean taking a break from work and a busy lifestyle for a bit, reconnecting with oneself, with friends and family, or visiting and discovering new places, of course with a film camera!
